What do you need to do to be contactless ready?
To continue to receive the receipt automatically after every trip, or if you are entitled to reduced ticket fares, be sure to update your profile at minside.flytoget.no with correct information.
If you have a debit card with BankAxept, you must enter your account number
If you use a debit card with BankAxept, you must update your profile at minside.flytoget.no in order to continue to receive the receipt automatically every time you travel. If you are entitled to reduced ticket fares as a senior or student, you must also update your profile.
You can register the card that you tap at a later time, if you need a receipt, even after you have travelled.
If you use a Mastercard or VISA credit card you are all set
If you have used VISA or Mastercard to travel with us so far, you are all set. This applies to credt cards that are not marked with BankAxept. We still recommend that you keep your profile up-to-date to make sure we can send you your receipt every time you travel.
Amex is not tap ready for the Airport Express
Unfortunately, Amex is not ready for contactless travel yet. Thus, it will not be possible to travel "ticketless" with credit cards from American Express from the time of launch this fall. But you may still use your Amex card in our app.
Why do we ask for an account number?
Norwegian debit cards with VISA or Mastercard require that the account number is registered in order for us to link the ticket to your profile. The account number is the identifier of these cards when you tap. These debit cards are recognized by having a BankAxept logo on the card.
