"We have been looking forward to introducing the ‘summer night trains’. We know that in the summer months many of our customers have flights that depart at slightly awkward times and passengers have been calling for more night-time train services. We are therefore really pleased that we have been able to make this happen this year, and we hope and believe that this new offer will be well received ", says Philipp Engedal, Flytoget’s CEO.
This is the first time that Flytoget will be running this many services in the space of 24 hours. Flytoget’s last Airport Express Train of the day normally departs Oslo Airport at 00.50 while the first morning service departs at 05.30. But this summer we will be adding the following departure times from Oslo Airport:
- 10, 01.30, 02.10, 02.40 (bus from Oslo S to all other stations, except Nationaltheatret)
- 50 and 05.10 (Airport Express train to all stations)
The first Airport Express train of the day normally departs Oslo S for Oslo Airport at 04.40, but this summer we will also be running services that depart at 04.00 and 04.20.
